I am also developing an expanded section on the Law of Attraction. I am very excited about this project as I have personally benefited from this knowledge in so many ways. Understanding the Law of Attraction has truly changed my life.

People use the many tools and resources we offer on our website to enhance their lives personally, professionally and artistically.

What motivates you to remain focused on growing your business/website?
I am motivated daily by the knowledge that people are really benefiting from the teachings on our website.

One woman recently shared with me that I had changed her life. (If comments like that don’t motivate a person, I’m not sure what would – what a wonderful compliment.)

Of course the woman is responsible for changing her own life. However, it is extremely satisfying to learn that our website had provided her with some helpful information, tools and resources that gave her the confidence to take action toward improving her personal situation.

I also get a lot of joy and pleasure out of researching and writing helpful articles that covers important topics such as self empowerment, self help and personal development tools.

What has been your greatest challenge as a business leader, and how did you overcome it?
The biggest challenge I face is keeping myself focused on a task until it’s complete. Staying consistent and focused to the end of a project is an important leadership trait that I am working on.

Sometimes I’m able to invest a lot of time into my site, but then other priorities pop up which tends to be a challenge. I’m definitely improving in this area and most often now I am finding things are becoming more balanced.

I’m overcoming this challenge through more effective planning. Better time management and creating a specific business activity plan has been a key to my success.

Rather than simply diving in and starting something new, I advice others to get yourself feeling good before you start doing anything. With a little creativity and by using your imagination, you can attract the kinds of positive ideas and opportunities that will help you to succeed.

Describe the most important activity(ies) you do regularly, that you attribute to the success of your site?
Clearly, the one activity that is most responsible for increasing traffic to my site has been the activity of writing quality articles.

Writing helpful articles is one of the most cost effective ways of positioning yourself as an expert in your field. Articles provide a venue for readers to find you, and perceive you as an authority on the subject.

One challenge of an online business is that your customers can’t look you directly in the eye or see your body language. Although audio and video feeds on your site can also help. Regardless of your method, it’s highly important that you provide a means of developing a strong relationship based on trust with your customers.

The more articles I read by a particular author that provide quality information on a subject of interest, the more I tend to place my trust in the person. Once I trust the author, I am more open to considering the purchase of products or services he or she might recommend.

If you do not consider yourself to be a good writer or you simply don't enjoy writing, then you might consider hiring a talented freelance writer. For a relatively small fee, you can find writers for hire at sites such as www.elance.com.

In order to get your articles published in multiple venues, you can utilize any number of software or article distribution lists for fast and easy submission.

Prepare yourself for your writing. Ensure that you have quiet time to gather your thoughts for a particular article. I also enjoy meditation and exercise.

Meditation can be for 5 minutes, 35 minutes or a full hour. Even if you can only spare 5 minutes, you will find this to be extremely beneficial. It helps clear your mind, heightens your intuitive instincts, gives you more energy and increases your creativity.

Most importantly, I advise people to follow your intuition. I’ve found that most things tend to go right when I listen to that tiny little voice in my head and I follow my instincts. In any kind of business, whether it’s on or offline, or even in your personal life, intuition should not be ignored.

I'm currently developing another site. However, at present I am keeping it under wraps.

Like the great Scottish Play, written by Shakespeare; “I dare not mention its name!”

What is your greatest accomplishment relating to your site?
I am very proud of the fact that my site is in the top 2% of all websites currently on the Internet.

I've accomplished this without any pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. In fact, no paid advertising at all! How many traditional brick-and-mortar businesses can say that?

Using SiteBuild It! (SBI), I've developed focused, theme specific, keyword rich content, which brings me targeted traffic to my site on a regular basis.

How would you recommend others get started on creating a website?
I’d advise others who are considering starting a website to first determine how their website will best fit into their overall business plan.

It’s important to take the time necessary to be clear about what you want to convey to your visitors. How do you want them to feel or react?

Visualize and get clear on what your potential customers will experience once they arrive at your website. Write these things down. Visualization is a great tool that all successful people use.

Regardless of whether you are a “newbie” or an experienced webmaster, SBI does give you the necessary knowledge and tools you will need to create a quality website.

How do you define leadership?
Effective leaders understand that there is no truth to the idea of getting-rich-quick. You can quickly go broke, spending thousands of dollars of fancy website building programs that produce zero traffic. Don’t buy into the promises of schisters. You are better off playing the lottery.

Instead, be passionate about what you decide to do. Ensure you pick a topic that will inspire you to develop your site consistently.

If you're enthusiastic and knowledgeable about what you do - this will come through to your website. Your passion for your subject will inspire others to work with you. More important than the service and/or products you provide, is how you make people feel.

As a leader in our industry or subject area, we have to be insightful and skilled enough to convey our message in a way that makes our customers want to do business with us. Leadership, therefore, is about influencing our employees and customers to act in a way that is most helpful to them, and to my business.

As mentioned earlier, effective planning is highly important. Time spent at the beginning, getting crystal clear about what you want to achieve, is an investment that will pay off a hundred-fold!

Tip: Write down a day in your ideal life, 5 years and 10 years from now. Trust me, it's an eye opener!

Describe your favorite leadership tool?
Favorite tool: I really like listening to quality audio tapes/CDs in my spare moments. You can learn so much during your daily commute, during a workout or even while taking a relaxing bath.

Specifically, tapes on meditation are very valuable to me. I enjoy reading e-books because of the flexible format. I’m better able to make notes in e-books and it feels more interactive.
