You rate each task twice. How important it is to your role right now, and how hard it is for you to do well today. There's a box to check for anything you've never had to do, and those get their own short list at the end. By calculating importance times difficulty, areas for development will surface, and the results can be surprising.

The whole assessment takes about fifteen minutes. There's a Word version if you'd rather print it and fill it in by hand. Use the Excel version if you can. It automatically scores as you go.
