Leading Full Circle!

"Don't spend your precious time asking 'Why isn't the world a better place?' It will only be time wasted. The question to ask is 'How can I make it better?' To that there is an answer."
- Leo F. Buscaglia

Have you ever felt like you’re being managed by other people’s needs and interests?

If you’ve felt that sense of not being in control, you probably have not taken the time to identify what is truly important to you. The following information will assist you in creating a solid plan for making progress on what YOU need.

Balance is the type of thing that sounds good in theory but can be difficult to apply in real life.

With the constant demands from our work and families, it may be difficult to imagine a life that allows for all the things you would like to do.

Many men and women make the same mistake of putting other’s needs ahead of their own. However, this kind of decision-making is a costly mistake in the long run.

Burnout, depression and loss of health are often the price we pay for not making balance a priority in our lives.

Perhaps intuitively, great leaders and successful individuals throughout time have known the importance of having balance in their lives. Instead of living to work, they worked to live.

In the process, they became much more well-rounded and balanced in their lives - characteristics that strongly correlate to true success and personal fulfillment.

Imagine for a moment your own “success wheel”. Divide your wheel into equal slices, similar to slicing a pie. Each “slice” represents one of life’s key categories.

Divide the success wheel into six equal slices and label each slice with the following life categories:

Family
Friends
Physical
Spiritual
Financial
Career

Now let’s look at each of the above key categories of your life and try to determine what your current level of fulfillment is in each area.

Are you following your hopes and dreams? Do you feel highly engaged and self-fulfilled in each category? If not, then please keep reading.

Only YOU can identify what you desire to achieve, and only you can create your plan and strategy for improvement in each area – and we can help!

In the next section you can begin your journey toward creating a proven plan for success and self-fulfillment.

"The best thing workers can bring to their jobs is a lifelong thirst for learning."

Fulfillment In Gratitude!

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, we are reminded of all that we have - and all that we should be thankful for.

Poem on Gratitude & Thanksgiving

The sun was shining in my eyes, and I could barely see
To do the necessary task that was allotted me.
Resentment of the vivid glow, I started to complain--
When all at once upon the air I heard the blind man's cane.
- Author Unknown

We challenge you to read the preceding poem 2-3 times. As your read, think about all the things that you have complained about over the last week... understand that your level of Gratitude determines the quality of your Attitude. Happy Thanksgiving!

"The person who gets the farthest is generally the one who is willing to do and dare. The sure-thing boat never gets far from shore."
- Dale Carnegie
