Meet Leadership GIANTS!
Interviews With Top Leaders

"The reason most people never reach their goals
is that they don't define them.
Winners can tell you where they are going
and what they plan to do along the way."

- Dennis Waitley

I’m excited about this edition of our newsletter, which is literally the result of three months of hands-on research. It's been well worth the investment of time and effort.

Without a doubt the best leaders make every effort to continue to learn and grow. However, leaders are often challenged to take time out for self development as their leadership responsibilities increase.

Over the years we have worked hard to assist leaders in overcoming this challenge by continually offering new leadership tools, resources and ideas for your consideration.

This month is certainly no exception!

A few months ago I was introduced to Mike Giles, CEO of MeetTheGiants.com. Mike resides in the United Kingdom and has spent the past year or so conducting high profile interviews with well established leaders within a wide array of industries.

As we discussed the possibility of working together, Mike quickly realized that I am very protective of my subscribers, and that I’m not about the make any quick recommendation without first fully testing the product/service and verifying the value and benefits firsthand. I am pleased to say that Mike did not hesitate to allow me full access so that I could see for myself what his program offers.

After listening to several of Mike’s interviews with some of the world's true "giants" of industry, it occurred to me to ask Mike if he would be willing to sit on the opposite side of the table and become the interviewee. He agreed, and as a result you get to hear firsthand what Mike says about his leadership philosophy and details about his business, which is so aptly named: MeetTheGiants.com

This interview runs about 45 minutes, so sit back, get comfortable and plan on taking a few notes. I believe you will really enjoy and personally benefit from what Mike has to share.

After 3 full months of listening to MeetTheGiants interviews, I have truly benefited as a leader. Not only are the interviews engaging and entertaining, they also provide you with new ideas and resources to consider for the benefit of your own business or team.

Listen to a few short samples of MeetTheGiants interviews here.

I enjoy listening to these interviews when I’m on the go. For instance, when I’m working out at the gym, mowing the yard or traveling out of town. Whenever I have a few spare moments, this service provides an excellent opportunity to better leverage my time and add value to my day.

As an added incentive Mike has agreed to allow Leadership-Tools.com subscribers to try out MeetTheGiants for 30 days for only $1.00 – give it a test-drive, you’ll be glad you did.

Brian Tracy - No Excuses!
... and How I Met Orison Swett Marden

"Learning is not a spectator sport."
- D. Blocher

Speaking of “Giants”, I recently read a fabulous new book, No Excuses! The Power of Self-Discipline, written by Brian Tracy - a true living legend within the personal development arena.

No Excuses!
I have been an admirer of Brian Tracy’s for a long time. In fact, I can vividly remember listening to his audiobook Goals! many years ago. I listened to the Goals! audiobook as I was running on a treadmill in my local gym.

As I listened, I was inspired to write down the name of an author who was referenced by Tracy. He mentioned that this author was one of the ‘great thinkers’ that had inspired him when he was first starting out. The name of that great author was Orison Marden.

Yes, the same Orison Swett Marden who in 1894 wrote and published the self-help classic Pushing To The Front, which is now offered as a free downloadable ebook to all of our readers.

As you may know, our sister website www.LeadershipAudio.com was created as a tribute to Orison Swett Marden. I have become an avid collector of Marden's century-old books, as you can see by this photo.
Orison Swett Marden Book Collection

If you are looking for another Marden Classic (freebie), go to our other website at www.Debt-to-Income.com and download Prosperity: How To Attract It!.

Marden’s books are perhaps even more relevant today than they were over a century ago. In today's tough economic times, Marden's financial insights provide effective anecdotes for the challenges of our day.

Now back to Brian Tracy. Tracy’s newest book, No Excuses, is also highly relevant and a real page turner. A book review is now posted on our website at No Excuses! book review.

We have all heard the common excuse made by a team member “But I don’t have the time to learn that.” In true Tracy fashion, he delivers the perfect rebuttal: “Never let your car be moving (or your treadmill) without you learning something.” He’s referring to the fact that today almost every book or seminar imaginable is available on audio.

If you aren’t sure where to find an audiobook, I suggest you check out Audible.com Limited Time Offer - Get Your First 3 Months at Audible.com for $7.49/month!. I’ve been a monthly subscriber for the past decade and I love it.

Success is all about making the most of your spare hours.

Read (or listen) to books continuously to learn and grow as a leader. Tracy has read three hours a day for over 50 years, and he estimates that he has read somewhere between 6,000 and 7,000 books. He says quite frankly, “You can learn anything if you really want to.”

No Excuses! provides a wealth of information that is designed to keep you focused on what you can do, and what you must do, in order to create the life you were meant to lead.

"Vision is not enough, it must be combined with venture.
It is not enough to stare up the steps, we must step up the stairs."

- Vaclav Havel
