Rising Up To Lead
"Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it." - Lou Holtz
Too many children who are born into less than ideal circumstances, grow up believing that they are not deserving of all the joys that life has to offer.
These same children believe they have no special skills, no great potential and no bright future to strive for.
Because of their environment and the way they have been taught to perceive most things, the young child's eyes are blinded to life's possibilities.
There is an old children's story that describes a young lion cub who one day strays too far from his mother and becomes lost.
The young cub gets discovered and adopted by a mother sheep who has recently lost her own offspring to a fierce predator.
The mother sheep becomes very fond of her adopted cub. The young lion grew up knowing only the attributes of his sheep family and friends. Although he doesn't know why, he feels different.
One day a magnificent lion appears, his impressive mane blowing in the wind as he lets out a ferocious roar! Until this time the young lion had never heard such a roar, but at that very moment he felt a stirring deep within himself - and his natural instincts take him over.
New desires and a strange new feeling of power possesses the young lion.
Without a thought of what he was doing, he answered the lion's call with a ferocious roar of his own!
The once lost lion has finally found himself.
What we learn from this children's tale is that in every human being, there is a sleeping lion. It's simply a question of how to awaken our natural instincts to learn, grow and achieve.
The most valuable thing in a persons' life is that
one memorable experience - that book, that sermon, that person, that incident, that catastrophe, that something , which compels a man or woman to break free from the shackles of low expectations.
Each person must finally decide that they are worthy of MORE! She must be determined to use her spare moments to educate herself and remain focused on continuous self-improvement.
Once the blinders are removed and your potential can be viewed clearly, and the lion in you has been effectively uncaged - you will begin experiencing life' offerings.
You can never again be timid, weak, fearful or victimized. You will be free!
Free to learn, free to grow, free to achieve - FREE TO WIN!

Management Development - Needs Analysis
"Begin: to begin is half the work. Let half still remain; again begin this, and thou wilt have finished." - Ausonius
Management development programs vary widely from company to company. Some organizations invest heavily in training their future leaders, while other short sighted business owners invest nothing.
Dollars spent on management development, if spent wisely, pay an impressive return to the organization. The key to an impressive return is to focus management development resources only on skills and activities that have high impact returns for the organication.
The training needs of individual employees should be assessed within the context of the organization’s strategic goals, as well as supporting employee performance and development.
We have provided
a free management development training assessment tool for your convenience. This assessment tool should be used in concert with management and their respective employees.

Rising To The Occasion!
"It's that bigger, grander man beating beneath the dwarf of a man you feel yourself to be, that is important." - Unknown
"Say to
yourself, "Health, luck, usefulness, success is mine - I claim it!" Keep thinking that thought, no matter what happens." - Ella Wheeler Wilcox
"We can take a word and think love into it, think service into it, think friendliness into it, and it will create a corresponding feeling in the one it is addressed to. Or, we can take the same word and think hatred into it, think jealousy into it, think envy into it, and hurl it out and arouse antagonism, jealousy, hatred or envy into another's mind. It's each persons choice to see into a word a particular meaning. Choose wisely, choose to spread the good in all things, not the bad. Choose to rise above pettiness, rise above bigotry, prejudice and intolerance, rise above self righteousness, rise above indifference, laziness, dishonesty, wickedness and extremism. RISE ABOVE all that makes you weak."

fight, I am singing my song." - Unknown
